FVR Contracting is able to cater to any feral vertebrate species anywhere in Australia. Backed by a solid network of ground and aerial sub-contractors, there is no feral animal problem that FVR Contracting is unable to address.

Professional Shooter

FVR’s Director, Nathan, holds a QLD Weapons licence fully endorsed for occupational use against categories A, B,C, D and H. This includes relevant specialised conditions for the conduct of urban shooting.

Nathan carries a current CASA permit to ‘carry and discharge’ firearms on aircraft inclusive of the ability to shoot within the normal limitations (3NM of townships) applied to these permits.

FVR has a network of fully qualified and insured land management sub-contractors directly overseen by the director at FVR.

This enables FVR to scale from niche control operations to larger scale remote area programs inclusive of supplying full logistic support.

FVR operates with industry leading risk management protocols including detailed risk management plans, JSEAs, take 5s and SOPs to ensure that all risks inclusive of reputational risks are effectively managed.

FVR is able to work within the clients risk management policies & procedures to ensure that highly effective programs are run within the clients risk management framework & thresholds.

Feral Animal Management - Nathan

Meet Nathan – Director of FVR Contracting

Director, lead planner, professional hunter and principle marksman at FVR Contracting. Nathan established FVR Contracting in 2016 after a 21 year career as an Infantry Officer in the Australian Regular Army. On leaving the military, Nathan saw the opportunity to put his management and leadership skills to use in the set-up of a highly compliant and heavily licensed Conservation and Land Management (CALM) business focused on feral animal control, management and strategy with the specific aim to deliver more than just control outcomes inclusive of detailed reporting, consulting, strategic planning whilst being able to integrate with clients standing programs and concepts.

Nathan has an extensive background in firearms and ballistics both as a result of his military career and his 30 year background in hunting and the hunting industry and as such has built the business utilising the best technology and equipment available with industry leading skill and techniques. The primary driver for starting the business was a love of the outdoors and a long-term passion for the conservation of Australian native flora and fauna.
